Blessed Samhain

... and a Happy New Year, too!

Most of the trick-or-treaters have been and gone, and I'm spending a quiet evening at home. I haven't done my cards yet (the one Samhain tradition I keep), but I will before too long. I have been thinking, tonight, of the ones who have come before me, those I knew who have passed, and those I didn't know, but whose lives have led to mine. Just some simple reflection, and a little divination. That is all.

No rituals for me tonight -- just an early date with my pillows and quilts.
